Baked Spare Ribs
Ribs:
5 lb Ribs
¾ Cup Steele’s Nature Sweet Brown Sugar Crystals
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Cup water
2 tsp. Lemon juice
Heat oven to 275˚. Sprinkle ribs with cinnamon
and brown sugar to coat. Cook in oven 2 to 3 hours or until
meat starts to shrink from bone tips. Add water and lemon juice.
Cover lightly with foil and cook an additional hour or until bones
loosen in meat.
Barbeque Sauce:
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 Cup water
½ Cup Keto Pineapple Fruit Spread
1/3 Cup soy sauce
1 2/3 Cup Steele’s Nature Sweet Brown Sugar Crystals
2 Tbsp. Expert Foods Not/Starch
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. whiskey or rum (optional)
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
Combine all ingredients in saucepan and simmer
until ribs are done.
Remove ribs from oven. Baste with sauce and
either broil or grill until sauce bubbles and starts to brown.
Refrigerate remaining sauce.
Servings- 6 for ribs. 12 for sauce.
